PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Allpress Olive Grove at Rangihoua combines olive processing with visitor facilities on Waiheke. With no connection to a public wastewater network, wastewater must be treated and managed on site.
GWE assessed fluctuating flows tied to seasonal processing and reviewed wastewater characteristics that differ from typical domestic systems, considering proximity to sensitive receiving environments.
We designed an on-site treatment system tailored to olive-processing operations and integrated the solution with land use, production activities and the site’s operational requirements. GWE also provided engineering certification and sign-off to support compliance.
Appropriate treatment and robust design protect groundwater and coastal quality, maintain public health, and support sustainable site operations over the long term.
