Frequently Asked Questions.

How big does my septic tank/system need to be?

It depends on bedrooms/flows and site conditions; we size and design to local rules and prepare the consent documentation.

How long does installation take?

Typical domestic installs run 1–2 days, subject to access and complexity.

When should I replace or upgrade?

Triggers include poor performance, damage/age, or new consent/standard requirements; we assess and advise the best option and cost.

How long does a domestic discharge consent last?

Timeframes vary by council; 10–20 years is common. Ideally renew 6 months before expiry.

What ongoing compliance is needed?

Expect monitoring/inspections and periodic reporting; we help set up sampling, interpret results, and keep your system compliant.
