This year marks the 10th anniversary of GWE Consulting Limited – and wow, what a journey!
The business was established in 2011 by Gareth Williams as a specialist provider of planning and design services for wastewater engineering projects across the Auckland Region. Since that time, we have grown our capabilities to include contaminated land remediation, geotechnical, land development and water engineering services for commercial, industrial, governmental and private clients. And, in our trusted engineering adviser role, our clients have commissioned us on projects across the length and breadth of New Zealand,” says CEO Gareth.
“Along the way, we have worked with some of the most fascinating and demanding organisations from boutique developers to large global multinationals, for a variety of industries and for councils and regulators. During the 10 years in business, we have successfully designed and overseen the implementation of more than 3,000 projects.
GWE has its focus on providing engineering solutions for the built environment, working on exciting projects like Eco Retreat Glenorchy, NZ’s first “Living Building Challenge” project that was listed by TIME Magazine as one of the “World’s Greatest Places”, Kinloch Golf Course treated wastewater irrigation system, a 4,000 lot subdivision in south-east Auckland, institutional buildings for Auckland Council and the Ministry of Education and “off the grid”, sustainable water and wastewater facilities for the Department of Conservation.
Reaching 10 years in business is an important milestone for any company and we are very proud of what we have achieved during this time.
