Robin Dawson recently joined GWE Consulting Engineers as a Technical Director and is based on Waiheke Island. Robin and his family are active members of the local community.

Robin is a highly experienced civil and geotechnical engineer who has practised extensively in the specialist area of dams engineering.
The majority of Robin’s working experience was gained while working with the civil engineering consultancy Tonkin & Taylor Ltd where he worked on large projects in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Pacific. Although based on Waiheke, Robin will bring his experience to all GWE’s future projects throughout New Zealand.
Robin was a Director and major shareholder in T&T and was the company’s lead dam designer.
With his move to GWE Consulting Engineers, Robin has returned to focus on a wider range of geotechnical engineering matters.
